HSGS-Ameresco Awarded Microgrid Project with White Sands Missile Range

HSGS-Ameresco, LLC, a joint venture certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) by the Small Business Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), today announced that it has been awarded a contract to install a microgrid system at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), the Department of Defense’s largest open-air military test facility in New Mexico.
 
The new microgrid system is for several of the base’s potable water wells and will include a new 700kW solar photovoltaic array, a 500kW natural gas generator and a 500kW battery energy storage system.

HSGS-Ameresco Selected to Construct 1.5 MW Solar PV Array for Tooele Army Depot

​HSGS-Ameresco, a joint venture between Hannah Solar Government Services and Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE:AMRC), has been awarded a $7,900,000 contract to design and construct a 1.5 MW (AC) ground mount solar photovoltaic (PV) system for the US Army at Tooele Army Depot in Tooele, Utah.

​Hannah Solar Government Services Announces Joint Venture with Ameresco

​Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) renewable energy company, announced that it is entering into a joint venture with Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE: AMRC), a leading cleantech integrator specializing in energy efficiency and renewable energy. 

The joint venture was facilitated as part of the SBA Mentor Protégé Program, which helps eligible small businesses, known as protégés, gain exposure and win government contracts through partnerships with more experienced companies, referred to as mentors. By entering into a joint venture, HSGS will have the unique opportunity to grow as an energy provider by learning from the Ameresco team, which is comprised of an experienced group of government contractors.

HSGS Awarded 2021 Gleaming Star Safety Award by South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation

Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS), a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) renewable energy company, has been awarded the 2021 Gleaming Star Safety Award by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (LLR).

​Every year the South Carolina Department of LLR awards employers that have successful safety and health programs. The 2021 Gleaming Star Safety Award was awarded to employers that have less than 100 employees and demonstrated a culture of safety and health, and implemented precautions and policies that addressed the needs of their employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.

HSGS Completes Solar PV Parking Canopies at North Little Rock VAMC

Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS) recently completed the construction of 330 kW worth of solar photovoltaic (PV) parking canopies for the Department of Veterans Affairs at the North Little Rock VA Medical Center (VAMC) in North Little Rock, AR. Hannah Solar Government Services has been selected to design and construct a 490kW roof mounted solar PV (photovoltaic) system for Z-Man Fishing Products, Inc. in Ladson, South Carolina.

​Z-Man Fishing Products is a South Carolina based fishing lure brand that supplies products to fishermen around the world. Z-Man is one of the fastest-growing lure brands in the United States, sold nationwide in stores such as Bass Pro Shops, Walmart, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Their facility in Ladson, SC is responsible for all of Z Man’s manufacturing.
